Former promoter and record label founder turned internet entrepreneur. I love building products on the internet where my personal passions and technology intersect. Over the years, I’ve founded:
- Fuga.com: Leading B2B music distribution platform (acquired by Downtown music), where I built the first product and secured initial customers.
- Shuffler: An internet radio platform curated from music blogs, celebrated as one of the top apps in the Apple App Store across more than 100 countries. It played a pivotal role in the blog-era of music discovery, garnering widespread acclaim. The Guardian even hailed it as “the best since Spotify.”
- Pause: A curated music guide blending streaming service and magazine, frequently featured as a top app in the Apple App Store.
Currently, I’m focused on:
- ShopPop: A fresh approach to marketing: prioritize informing over interrupting and spamming by delivering relevant notifications directly to the top of the inbox on WhatsApp and SMS.
- I AM POP: A direct-to-fan messaging app leveraging the high open rates of DMs to grow streams, sell tickets, merch and more.
I’ve also served as an in-house entrepreneur and product builder for companies like SONOS and [PIAS]. Occasionally, I’ve taken on entrepreneur-in-residence roles, developing products on a project basis.
